I have a Caberg trip which is a lovely fit (Plus I find the flip make putting it on/taking it off much easier) but it does suffer from some terrible windnoise - Is there a way to reduce this amount of noise?

Earplugs. Smile

You can also get a skirt that fits around the bottom of the helmet, but have no idea how well they work.

I used to have the Justissimo and found that really bad for wind noise, yet I have no problems with the trip, I have kept the skirt at the bottom on though which i didn't with the Justissimo so it could be that.

I bought some plugs today to test, but I have a bike to bike intercom system which does pick up the wind noise in the mic and also hearing through it can sometimes be a little hard at higher speed.

Depends what is causing the noise. Those skirt thingies will only work if it being caused by air rushing around the bottom of the lid. If it has lots of vents or sticky out bits it won't touch it.

Earplugs are a must anyway, it goes without saying, but a taller/wider screen will help reduce noise as well.

3 vents at the front and 1 on top, no sticky out bits.

Not only can you hear the wind, but you can also feel the pressure difference, so I'm wondering if it's worth closing the top vent and seeing if that reduces the pressure.

Why havent you tried with all the vents closed/open already before posting lol?

I have a Nolan X202 or something, a flip up one, great lid, came with a sun visor on the outside,

only two problems... Worst wind noise by far for any of my lids so far,

And at over 115 the Sun visor catches mad turbulence from the wind (naked bike) so i taken that off and wear earphones/earplugs as much as poss...

I can only close the top vent and didn't think about it until I was writing about the pressure difference (Which now seems obvious and I should have done that first!).

I'm gonna see what the plugs are like and also see if using an mp3 player with it's earphones will work.

I was just curious if something simple like a piece of material placed in the right spot could help.
