Tech 7 Three-Piece Luggage Set

Has anyone got this kit, or had experience of Tech 7 luggage? And for that matter, know if the tank bag is magnetic, or is that a given? Also whether or not it's a good price

my mate has that kit and i dont think hes had any problems and yes the tank bag is magnetic, its also a very simmilar kit to mine (probly made by the same poeple with a different sticker on it ), they aint bad for the money.

So was this set any good? I need something for the Isle of Man next week and was either thinking of getting this or the Buffalo set at J&S for 89.99.

It good, but the price is about right for them. The material they're made out of isn't fantastically thick, and the stitching is OK. I managed to tear a hold in a corner of my tank bag by carrying my heavy 1m chain in it Sad

All the stuff has holes to attach a strap to to allow you to carry. The tailpack has built in straps to turn it into a backpack.

The panniers are a bit of a bugger on my Hornet - two velcro straps join them, and a big chunky plastic buckle in the middle of the two:

Apparently recommended that you put this buckle under the seat whilst in operation, but my seat sits on the centre-frame of the bike, so everything has to go above the seat Neutral

Everything comes with loads of bungee ropes and waterproof covers.

Reasonable buy for £40, but it's £60 now... I'd probably go for the Oxford set for the same money Thumbs Up

I've just (about a week ago) subscribed to fast bikes mainly to get the oxford sports panniers, are they any good?

Also, off topic I know, but does anyone know how long they take to arrive?

I don't know where they are coming from, on the website that I subscribed to fast bikes through it said to allow 28 days for the 'free gift' but I thought that was just to cover themselves for delays, I subscribed on 12th May hoping they would be here for this weekend but they didn't turn up so camping has been posponed until they arrive!

Do they need the handles on the back to fasten to (the ones under the plastics, that you use to put the bike on the centre stand, that have pegs for bungee cords) or do they just strap on? The handles are missing on my bike, looking for some replacements but at £10 a side on ebay I think it's a bit OTT!

Cheers guys - ordered the Oxford set from M&P. Great price at £75 incl delivery. Its not going to be used much anyway, so something cheap and cheerful should do the trick - if its half decent then all the better Smile
