Hi there,
Some prick out there tried to steal my bike but couldn't get around to start it so left it there, was lucky i suppose. But he did actually totally destroyed my ignition barrel. Now my question, i heard there are two different types of ignition ( 2 wire and 7 wire i suppose ?) is this true ? and how do i find out like by the colours or something else or is there any specfic model number to look for ?

Ive been looking at ebay as honda's quote is 95 pounds + VAT:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-NSR125-NSR-FOXEYE-IGNITION-LOCK-SET_W0QQitemZ130117416425QQihZ003QQcategoryZ10460QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks for all the help in advance ... :wink :wink

i would imagine its like the seller says, i think all foxeyes are 4 wire barrels, i know mine has a red,black,black/white and a green and it plugs in under the clocks as will the item your looking at on ebay, should be a fairly easy job.

the key totally fails to move. it cannot apply handle lock or start the bike. Seems like someone had a big screw driver to mess about with.

Mine is 4 wire as well, i think i will go for the ebay one. Thanks everyone
