Hi, is it possible to use a web cam as a cctv camera , for indoor use ?

As in can I record the web cam onto my computer for a long time ?

(few hours at least)

Is there any program I can download to do this ?

And how long would you think I could record for ?

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

Depends on the amount of space you have and quality you select.

Google will provide better recommendation's than me for specifics, I'm sure.

Like I have said before all people have things they are good at , for me its fixing bikes, were as pc's I don't know that much about , so it's all about every body helping each other. one day you might have a problem with your bike and I may be able to help you out , and one day I might need help with my pc and you might be able to help me out , a bit of give and take goes a long way.

( thats not aimed at any one in particular btw)

Webcam Zone Trigger v1.7

Mirror 1:
https://www.zonetrigger.com/ZoneTriggerInstaller.exe

Crack / Keygen / Serial Mirror:
https://www21.fixdown.com/endown/f4wzt17b-2006-03-04.rar

Description:
Zone Trigger is an innovative, intelligent motion detection software. Because of its user-friendly, object-oriented interface, Zone Trigger is hands-down the easiest motion detection software to use. Created by Omega Unfold, Zone Trigger takes live video from any webcam, DV camcorder or analog video input device.

What makes this software hot?
Hot Spots. They are objects that you can place anywhere on the image, move around and resize. They detect motion within this area, and when triggered, they perform the actions that you have selected.

Zone Trigger’s intelligent motion-detection algorithm lets you set any number of Hot Spots that trigger any number of user-defined responses (take a snapshot, ring a bell, play music, etc.) The software is constantly adapting to the environmental lighting conditions, so you'll never miss a trig because it’s too dark or too bright. You can set each Hot Spot’s sensitivity individually, giving you full control and, of course, peace of mind.

I used to run this https://sourceforge.net/projects/dcamserver/ and capture images rather than video, but it does both.

And it's free

And not cracked, hacked or stolen. Wink

NC You are a god. got that zone trigger software and its brilliant.

Figured out that you can set it up to play a sound when triggered.

Ok you prob knew that but you can set a number of hotspots and give them each a different sound.

SO here the fun begins. You can the sit in front of your PC and play a virtual musical instrument. by waving you hands around into the various hotspots to make the sound.

Bit of fun anyway Very Happy Thumbs Up
