One of the guys at Big CC was telling us he took theirs on a run to the chip shop.

In November.

In the rain.

Apparently it was "interesting". Laughing

414bhp from a busa! thats just insane. ive heard about these guys that build bikes for an annual dyno shootout at Daytona bike week, and some of them have bikes that reach 500bhp. apparently the rule is that all the bikes have to be street rideable? that take part, as they can at random be told to do a set distance road ride, just to prove that the bike can run that level of bhp for more than a few minutes on a dyno.
I wouldnt think where you would start in making a 1300cc engine reach that level of power, as even in car terms thats alot for a modified engine. Theres a guy in uk with a rally spec MG meastro, that runs a T16 turbo rover engine thats been modified from 200bhp to 412bhp, and thats like 100% power gain which is really impressive, for a 2litre car engine, but a 414bhp busa? Shocked

As bendy said, the Big CC one is road legal, and they do ride it around on the roads. Seen it around a few times, and parked up and riding from bike meets round here. Probably not a good commuter bike though Laughing

The big cc busa only put out 375bhp on that day due to blowing off a pipe on the turbo meaning they couldn't take it past 7k but it won the mcn bhp shootout running 401bhp just on turbo. They have now fitted nitros to it with a shnitz progressive controller which will be chucking in an extra 150bhp.

this one is road legal too, and with the adjustable turbo they stock, they can get upwards of 600bhp Twisted Evil Shocked

p.s. they also do a turbo kit for the gsxr1000 Shocked
