Not another one!

Well here is another question of which bike should I get. It will be restricted to 33bhp and my first biek after my test.

I have a list of bikes, I have sat on most of them and I like them all. But I havent ridden any.

So here goes;
(in no order)
Honda Hornet 600
Honda CBR 600f
Suzuki GSXR-600
And a Triumph Daytona 675

I know some bike are more sensible then the others.

i would start off by seeing how much each costs for insurance first

Insurance *shouldn't* be a problem as I have saved money since I was younger for this moment.

Mainly for a small commute, and every weekend a 40mile ride on mainly motorway a B roads. Also riding for fun.

Suzuki every time, But I am bias, I have a Hyosung (its got the SV650 engine) that Suzuki and i have a 400 cc Relentless quad that suzuki, I have really raced the quad hard and its bullet proof and very easy to work on when I break things

Yeah, the Suzuki is really drawing me in. Comfy seating position, price is well within budget. Also many people have told me its easy to ride and suitable for a beginner.

I love the Triumph personally. Stunning looking, quite different in many areas, very unique (still not seen many around) and best of all its British owned , British made . What more do you want from a bike.

Have you got any prefered options? or you still umming and arring (as it were)

Yeah I'm having the same difficulty... I have a 125 Suzuki Van Van just now - sitting my test in July hopefully and I don't know what bigger bike to go for. I've sat on so many and I'm confused as to what one to go for. I like the Honda CBR 600f, Yamaha Fazer and the Hornet but just can't decide.

I need the bike for commuting and also want to take a trip to Europe next summer for a couple of weeks so want something that's comfortable but with a bit of oomphf!

I agree the SV650 for a new rider may get him in to a couple of hairy situations But it can also get you out of them if you live around boy racers in there saxos thinking they can race up your ass.
If it gets restricted It will stop pulling your face off when pulling away or accererating but will still have the street cred if thats what your looking for.

Having looked at a Suzuki GSX 600 and having been told the engine is out of the GSXR 600, i'm wonder what difference int he bike will be, apart from the obvious.
