just want to touch on one thing though........what your saying is the missus left you just because you hit a patch of gravel on the road which made you bin the bike???? sounds harsh to me.

Cracking read, really enjoyed it and thanks for sharing. PS I'm so jealous of anyone who lives in Australia. I spent a good few months over there touring the East coast, but it was before I got my bike licence and I'd love to go back now!
