Right, I'll be getting my hands on a vinyl cutter (nothing really fancy) sometime next week, so I'll be in the position to make some decals for you lot.

It won't be for free, as I hope to make a little profit eventually, but definately not silly prices. Once I calculate material costs etc, I'll come up with some sample prices.

I can make anything from BCF URL stickers to OEM replacements to your own designs. But it'll have to be in single colours for the time being.

Please give me an idea of the potential customer base.

Ta. Smile

I doubt that I can make the decals flash, Deano. Wink If you just mean a sort of flame decal, than yeah I should be able to do that. Multiple colours will be tricky (though not impossible) and something I don't really want to be touching at such an early stage.

Nah I wanted them in two seperate colours gold (shiny as possible) and black. Something very similar as to what was on that american decal site that I posted on here a few months back. Sorry I don't have the link anymore.

You mean Tapeworks? ( https://www.tapeworks.com/ )

I'm not even attempting anything on that scale, so if you want major decals mate, then ask a professional!

I'm mainly offering small logos, URLs, slogans, etc, and not anything big.

Ok, a quick attempt at pricing:

15cm x 1.5cm BCF URL in black/white/silver - £1
7.5cm x 1cm BCF URL in black/white/silver - 70p
Any logo/slogan - £1 per 10cm x 1cm block (black/white/silver)

Any other colours *may* be subjected to an extra few pennies, but it depends on how it goes.

Obviously these are only rough prices. Please let me know what you think.

Prices are very reasonable, I cant see anyone having a problem with that.

OK, no worrys.
I will have some logo's though and my first initial idea was to buy the decal material in rolls of sheets, trace some decal design or create them, cut them out, peal the back off and stick to fairing.

Or won't I beable to do this because the material doesn't come like that when you buy it? Confused

7.5cm x 1cm not small enough for you? As I've said, these are just off-the-shelf measurements and prices.

Right, in order to ensure the best prices possible (and least waste), I would appreciate it if you could give an idea of what colours you'll be wanting.

I assume that the following will be the most popular/default:

Black
White (useful for tinted screens as well)
Silver

Yeah I thought about that but I want my fairings to be white so I'm a bit unsure as to how it would look but I'm sure I will add some silver onto before I'm finished.

Seconds that for the spare set of fairings.
Soon to be painted yellow and blue. (should be interesting) a friend managed to get a nice spray gun so i'm gonna let him go wild with the fairings, and decals would look nice to add to it.

Hi

I have a spray gun and a compressor, just zero ability with it.

I could do with some white and some orange stickers. However some of the orange ones need to be copied from some bodywork.

All the best

Shouldn't be a problem. Just a case of taking a good photo and making a bitmap.
