well, in as much a short time, was off again well, actually stayed on and rode it through the hedge until it came to a stop by getting my knee/pegs down, and I honestly don't know what went wrong, but as you can see from the second pic, I hit the gravel on the edge, then ploughed along the embankment before making slight contact with a tree stump, no-one else about apart from my brother(in a pic) round my last corner(I was outta his view) and a guy in a fiesta who stopped and checked I was ok, also Thumbs Up to the guy on the black naked er-6(iirc) who stopped and helped as much as he could, nowt really wrong Cept my fairing nudged slightly out of place, my knee nettled to f*ck and bruised ego... for those that know the norf, was just past Naburn on the last bends into Fulford... oh, doing about 50 in NSL. Birthday to remember lol Embarassed Laughing

No offence mate but it looks like you're exceeding thw capabilities of your bike.

You've got an NS125. Not every bike is stable during high-speed manuveriing and judging by the pictures it looks like you did it right except the bike shot wide and ended up in a hedge.

Don't expect it to handle like a Blade, Gixxer 6 or any other other supersports. You've got thin tyres and a box frame, not a 4-point diamond cradle, USDs and a modern swingarm.

Understeer is the big factor here and you'll notice it more the harder you push your bike.

What you must be careful of is putting your bike into an unrecoverable position where the laws of physics take over and no end of fantastic riding skills will save you from binning it.

In the end, sometimes it will just give up, and it's not your faulr ot anyone else's; it's just the fact that you asked the bike to do something that it is totally incapable of.

As I said, far too fast. You took that corner at about R10 by my reckoning.

it does look like you were going in too hot as per the tyre mark in the mud as you left the road. ah well glad your ok and not too much damage, could of been a lot worse i.e lots of squirrel homes to hit a little further back into the scenary.

Just don't go trying to pass off a "nettled knee" as a biking injury Smile

By looking at the line in the mud did you even attempt to take the corner at all? Laughing

Sorry, I'm only laughing because you're not seriously hurt and nothing's really damaged. Wink

pic of the bend I had come round before the off... Maybe a lil too fast for my/the bikes capabilites, but you learn form experience right? Cool

there is a drive way on the right hand side, but a another bend the same as I attempted before that, coming into the pic from the right like an "S" bend.

Thankfully for you it was a right hand bend.... Had it of been the other way and oncomming traffic then it would have been a totally diffrent result... Crying or Very sad
