I got the Blade for £300 salvage as part of the settlement. I might see if a can ship it off to the local dealer, it mainly panel damage and a squashed exhaust. Or I might stick it on Ebay for about a grand or so, see if anyone wants it for a track bike. Now I'm claiming for my gear, probably be another 7 months! Rolling Eyes

It's only got 5300mls on the clock. Thought about keeping for a track bike, but can't be asked with the hassle. Especially as I don't drive and haven't got a trailer! Anything I get is going as a deposit. You bought a CBR600RR TiN?

Aye. Very nice bike.

So how much seriously do you want for the Blade? If I can sell my CRM, I'd definately be interested.

I'm looking for between a grand - grand and a half. What you want it for? It would probably cost about the same again to put it back on the road. Easy option is the dealer, a mate was offered £1600 for has written off R reg ZX9R on Ebay by a dealer to close the auction early. I looked at the CBR a couple of months back, v nice bike. Can't decide between the 04 Blade or R1 next.

Go for a Twin like the Nera (only if you've never owned a twin though) if not I'd say the R1 as you've already had a blade.

I've had four Aprilia's over the years and can't cope with the Italian temperament in my old age, not to mention the parts and servicing costs. I'm lazy really, I want something that works through Winter as I don't drive.

I said "like" and I thought the RSVR was about in the 7 grand range or is the Nera a more sportier version or something?

Get the R1, Daniese or the ZX you know you want too Very Happy

Well what's £13.5K when it comes to happiness! Wink

The Nera is the Tricked out version, I remember when they made the SP version of the first bike, that was £22K as well. I am tempted by the R1 I must admit, but It's purely on aesthetics. Don't think there will be much it in performance wise when the new Blade is officially released.

Is it easier for a larger person to wheelie? given that they have more weight to transfer.
