I was annoyed yesterday getting a ton of rejection letter for jobs and missed my CBR600 V5C in the post
I opened it up and they spelt my name wrong , now if I send in an amendment they will just amend the
name right? and not register it as another extra keeper and thus +1 owner? , though I suppose if somebody
was to buy it they would notice a very similar person owned it before me with just a spelling mistake,
looks kinda bad too many owners...
Any thoughts?

Happened to me, I rang them up and explained they had made a mistake. They said send it back with a covering note of the phone conversation and they would sort it. Did that and it was back with me inside 2 weeks, everything correct and no extra keeper added. ____________________ Andy Sez....

I have also sent one back before with a covering letter explaining the mistakes. They amended it and sent it back, no probs. ____________________ Yamaha YZF-R6 |

It took me 13 years and five different licences to get them to spell my surname correctly on my driving licence, despite sending in my UK passport in with the last couple. I sent a covering letter with every single application for a new one.
I eventually got someone on the phone who seemed to know what he was talking about. He gave me a 'special' address to send it to and someone's name to mark it for the attention of.
I have yet to convince them that my Jawa has been painted green. I printed it in block capitals on the form applying for a logbook, it came back as black I filled in the V5 to register a change of colour, I got a new one back but still with the bike as black. I considered sending photos but decided it was going to be too much like hard work so if they want to think it's black, fine, see if I give a shit. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink.
