Hi, about to do a service on my bike, anyone know anywhere that's got good deals on semi-synth motorbike oil at the moment?

Cheers in advance! Thumbs Up

I'm not sure about right now, but Hein Gericke used to have a 5 litres of Motul Oil and an air filter for your bike for £25. This is the deal I used on my last two services.

Deal's not on any more, oil filter's £7.99 and oil's £26.99. Still not too sad. About average I suppose.

Last time i was at hein gericke, the manager told me that their own branded 10w40 semi synthetic (12.99) was made by motul....so he said why bother paying 29.99 for the motul branded. Wink So i bought some and my bikes running just fine.

Try Opie oils https://www.opieoils.co.uk/ Have a good range of top brand oils at decent prices. They do the Castrol R Superbike which is one of the top synthetic oils for £33. Deliver to your door too. I've had car oils from them and they are quick and sometimes have deals on.

Don't know if anyone else is after oil, but Halfords have 3 for 2 on bike products, so I got 15 litres of oil for the price of 10! Thumbs Up

What oil is it? Is it Halfords own brand?

sometimes good those offers, I got cleaning products on one of those 3 for 2 offers.

Just had a quick look - got the Castrol fully synth 3 for 2 = £20 a 4ltr

5L Motul oil at my regular garage was £17 when I was in there the other day. Not sure they sell it online, although I'm sure they would mail order if you give them a ring. HTH

I was going to mention the Halfords offer as well, but I've yet to pop in the Gloucester branch as they're the only ones to do a motorcycle range locally, I'm hoping to get the Castrol GPS 4T cheaper. I've paid £8.50/L but I know I can get 4L for £27 locally, I've bought off Opie Oils in the past recently, they also sell on eBay and occasionally have a good deal with delivery included.

I know some people have had problems with R superbike.

I used castrol GPS on my last bike, that was fine, and cheaper than superbike.

Not sure, only racers, and they were on 400's. Confused

I only know because I asked what to put in my 400 and was told to steer clear of R superbike. Wink
