Right so looking at buying an older yammy Tzr, a 1990 model to be precise. Now is there anything I really need to look out for?
It has 20k on the clocks, with no mot or tax. It appears to have been down the road at some point, resprayed panels + non standard mirrors. But he doesn't want much at all for it
Reckon it's worth a go? Even if I have to sort a few things out on it, I reckon it could be a nice bike.
Thanks ____________________ 2005 Yamaha R6 |

I dunno, I had mine DIY derestricted, opened the powervalve without the official destriction kit which involved a link to the throttle, Basically you had zero response up untill around 6000rpm so you thrashed it everywhere plus mine leaked oil at the powervalve. Anyhow babble babble mine seized up at 6k
Nice bike though I have some pretty pics of mine circa 1990 |
