Then rossi gets second

Then he runs wide

10TH PLACE

NOW HES 5 PLACE

COME ON

After getting in from a party next door at 2:30am, I set my alarm for 5.45am - just for me to wake up, switch the tv on and promptly fall back to sleep. Rolling Eyes

Looked a decent race from the (short)highlights too. Sad

i hate motogp on bbc, sometimes they show live races when they have nothing else to fill the time but then again sometimes they only show 10 min highlights like today

I woke up at 5am to watch it. Awesome race, and what do you mean what's up with Rossi? He made one mistake all race, and he admits to messing up the braking and running into the gravel, apart from that I think he did bloody well to get back from 9th place back up into 2nd, and finish about 3 seconds behind Max, when he was originally 8 seconds behind. Good old Rossi started lapping a second faster than everyone else, think apart from the mistake it's the best I've seen him ride so far.

Absolutely, just look at the guys record this season. He's leading the championship, and is odds on to win(again). He's not really had a bad race, just made a few small mistakes that due to the close nature of the racing have cost him the wins.

If it was (for arguments sake) Bayliss who made a mistake from the lead which took him to 9th but then he managed to fight back to 2nd you'd be saying that he's a riding god. Rossi does the same and suddenly he's shit and losing his touch!

Look at this season compared the last couple. Rossi's competition has been far stronger than the last couple of years (especially last year) with Capirossi on the Ducati and Gibernau and Biaggi on the Honda's being right up at the top with him.

Jeez, give the guy a break!

Couldnt have said it better than McJam. If anyone else had done what Rossi managed you would be calling them amazing and saying how well they rode but because it was Rossi and he made a mistake you say he's losing his touch. Everyone else is on competitive bikes and he is still kicking arse. Rossi's the man!

Hey at least Rossi is leading in overall points man!!! The guy is a freakin legend. The things he does with that bike.....this guy even twist or defies the laws of gravity, beat that Bob Villa!!! Razz
