He's HAPPY his bike got stolen!!!

So about a month ago a friend of mine crashed into 2 friends on their bikes from behind with his car. His insurance was gonna pay around 1500£ of damage. One of the bikes was in the mechanics the other day, waiting for a straightening out of the frame. Guess what? It got STOLEN! From the mechanics when they had it outside the shop.
What's gonna happen now is: Police have been involved and they've been charged with 2100 euros (1400£) That's more than what the insurance was gonna give to fix it, and more than what he wanted to sell the bike for! So now he'll get a new SH125 for a few hundred, the mechanics who we really hate get fooked, and our friend's insurance will only have to pay half as much or less as the other bike is less damaged.
He was acually laughing about it!
He comes up to me and goes. Hehehee. My bike got stolen. Hehehe.
I thought it was a joke XD

wont make a great deal of difference to the car drivers claim. My experiance suggests 'a claim is a claim' whether its £500 or £5000.
