'busa sump plug is 14mm. Measure the hole then add 2 or 2.5mm and you'll get the plug size.

Why bikeless for a week? It's a bolt. Find one of the same size, add a copper washer and screw it in. It doesn't specifically have to be a sump plug, anything that fits the hole and is roughly the right length will do.

My local parts factors has a tray full of different sump plug bolts for cars, and many of them are the same as bike ones. Worth a try.

You were very lucky you didn't trash the engine from lack of oil.

Glad it's only bikeless for a week rather than limbless, lifeless or bikeless.

Why a week? A dealer if they haven't got one could get one for the next day for pennies. Oh and its a bolt not a nut. Wink

Ive done a tonne down the A28 thinking hmmm i know its windy but the back end shouldnt be this excited. Had to have the thing re-threaded and 2.3 litres of oil put back in straight after an oil change.

If you got away with it (as i did) then just consider yourself lucky youre not bikeless for longer! Thumbs Up
