Is there any way I can fix a set of Elbow Sliders onto my Dainese leathers. They don't have a velcro / patch for a slider to fix to. I was wondering if there are any Glue on Type or something.

Reason I ask is because I got my Elbow down tonight and now have a nasty chunk out of my elbow on my Spanking leathers.

If you're getting your elbow down regularly, which let's face it, you're not. Then you should probably be riding slightly further from 'the edge' on the road.

Knee down gives you very little room for maneuvre if anything goes tits up. Elbow down gives you fuck all.

If you carry on riding like that on the road, I suspect you'll find yourself swiftly under a bus or in the slammer. Maybe both.

A serious answer to your question would be stitching or glueing velcro material to your elbows. Seems pointless to me though.

Elbow down is not a by product of speed, I suspect on the road you need to be adjusting your body position quite radically to achieve it.

See how many racers have elbow sliders...

If thet are velcro fitting how about getting some knee slider pads and cutting them to the correct shape/size for elbow sliders then fixing them to your leathers (I think they stick on, but a few stitches wouldn't go amiss!)

Well done on your elbow down btw! Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to lift the bike off the floor, supported only by your knee and (soon to be fitted) elbow sliders, this message will self desturct when everybody has read it!!! Very Happy

I wouldn't even attempt doing it on the "Road" road. Until they build Ebbsfleet Town, There will be two empty roundabouts present.

I dont even knee down on regular Road riding. Maybe if theres a lovely left/right hander ahead, and no cars about.

Ok, I admit. I want to Tart my leathers up more thats all! Rolling Eyes

Also got plans to get/build a track bike over winter. Smile Thumbs Up
