Are you claiming? I wouldnt bother......

Its only looks to have cracked the lenth of the bolt and you could get that repaired. If it gets inspected they'll say that you'll need a new engine casing which is silly money plus labour at silly money so yes it'll be a write off... cat D probably and I belive you have to buy the logbook back. Cat C its free...

Can't see why not. But it may come back to bite you when/if you come to sell it.

Yeah that can be repaired by welding. You need to find someone with a hefty TIG welder, bit of pre-heat and plenty of juice Very Happy

could prob pick up all that off ebay for less than £100. And getting that crack welded wouldnt cost too much either. Not only that, if a good job is done, it should be stronger.

Then engine mount is your biggie there. They can be weilded, but it is difficult, quite expencive and will never be as strong as it was before.
Front 17inch wheels for the hornet are in short suply and go for around £150. Try a VFR, CBR6 or blade wheel, many will slot right in with your spacers.
If you need any info give me a shout, know a little bout hornets from fixing mine a few times.

Just get that engine mount welded. I've been running my bandit with 2 broken engine mounts for about 9 months now. It seems fine. i.e it hasn't fallen out yet.

Those levers don't reeeaallllyyyy need replacing. They've just gained some character bends. We've all got them.

And definitely agree with a set of renthals.

If it's alloy it'll be a bastard to weld. That's what my bandit lump was, so I just glued it back on.

Have a look on yell.com and find someone localish who you can take it to and let them have a looksy.
