Will be moving back to parents soon as they will be off to travel Europe so no point having a big empty house. I will be able to use the garage then, but until then (my Daytona is always kept at theirs) I have to keep it in the bnack garden with a cover on.
Putting the cover on/off is a right royal pain, and so my dad has said I could build a kind of shed extension/awning. Basically I'm thinking some weather proofed MDF as a roof, then canvas for sides.
Has anyone done anything like this and can offer advice, or suggest an alternative, or anything on the market that would suffice? ____________________ Current: '07 Suzuki SV1000 & '07 Honda SH300i (again).

Thats strange, i was thinking of doing the same thing.
Pissed of going outside, taking cover off, open front door, chucking it in, then on bike, then off to work.

For a quick solution, you can buy those plastic shed things from most DIY stores such as Homebase for just over £100 ____________________ FS1E (73) -> RD125LC (86) -> Honda Bros 650 (88)

I'm assuming your dad isn't too keen on anything permanent, so why not just get a second hand frame tent, especially as it only has to last until they go to Europe. Probably pick one up in the local paper for £20, too. ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet

Had a look around and thinking making something is the cheapest option by far!
Since I'm using the back of the shed as one side, all I will need is a roof, 2 sides and a door. Oh a floor would be nice too! Maybe just have canvas walls even (though dunno where you can buy sheets of canvas).
It doesn't need to be complicated, only a temporary solution really. ____________________ Current: '07 Suzuki SV1000 & '07 Honda SH300i (again).

You could try using tarp. Cheap and effective. ____________________ the warped one: This is a follow up from the thread 'my willy hurts' |
