On my way to work today, i was blessed by a vision of the ultimate chav ped-boi:

Yes, he was clad in a hoodie, trackie b's, trainers and no gloves.

Yes, he had the pillion footpegs out and was resting his own feet on them

Yes, he had a spannie on his 50cc ped that was loud enough to wake the dead.

Nothing new there, seen it all before?

What set him that notch above all the others i've seen, was that this spotty yoot' was riding along with his helmet pushed up onto the top of his head, talking on his mobile phone! I followed him for a short while and was pleased to note that even after the conversation finished, he kept his helmet pushed up and rode with his 'phone hand' inserted into the pocket of his trackie bottoms. He didn't even take it out as he wobbled round a roundabout in the trademark MX style foot-out cornering method.

Surely he must be the King of them all, he certainly gets my vote.

Thumbs Up

Can anyone beat that?

A lot of the ped bois do that around here, they keep both their feet hanging off for miles on end. Shocked

We hit the duel carriage way, WEEEEHHHHAAAAA he went off again.
I pulled along side him at the round a bout and called over "hey mate your lights are givin it sh*t when you pull away, you must have a electric problem" he yelled back "YEA LOOKS COOL DONEIT"

Last group of scooter-idiots I saw were all pulled up at a set of crossroads' red lights, indicating left, and all adjacent eachother rather than single-file. They were all trying to pull wheelies while the lights were still red; pushing them each about 5 feet into the crossroad before pushing themselves back to the lights. Each of them were wearing the bog-standard hoodies, tracksuit bottoms and trainers with no gloves.

You should have seen their faces as I literally burst out laughing while walking past. I just hope when they inevitably cock up on the roads that they don't take anyone else with them.

Group of ped-boiz that come whining down this road. One going past as I'm writing this actually!

They race each other down this road (20mph zone outside a high school).

Even go so far as to kind of 'rock' their bodies back and forth as an effort to get more momentum whilst racing each other.

Anyone with a basic understanding of physics would understand that will give absolutely no extra speed at all.

Theres a difference in sound really...

You hear a loud sportsbike giving it some and you think "Go on lad!"...

You hear a 'ped giving it some and you look in disbelief as it crawls past you at 32mph (Isn't that the point in spending a few hundred quid on a new exhaust, the extra 2mph?) and want to shoot him for having such an annoyingly loud piece of shit.

Yeah i agree.

I said they were piss annoying.
One at my college does 32mph and sounds.... well louder than my PM55 exhaust (not on bike) which is fucking loud.

Least you don't hear me for too long though.

The more expensive exhausts are usually less annoying.

It's the £60 Technigas ones that sound wank Smile

Thats what most people on this forum think as we're all bikers or at least are interested in bikes.
But to the rest of the population there both just annoying noises. The only difference is, one is made by a 16yr old kid that probably won't know any better , the other is likely to be made by a 30 something guy that does.

Oh scooter boys, I'm on a 50cc but a geared one and mines still bog standard + restricted. I often get them pulling along side me at lights staring at me as if i have just said something about their mum, they then try to race me from the lights even though they have de-restricted ones and mines restricted Rolling Eyes I just laugh as i know that when mine is de-restricted i will easily out run them on a straight (should i feel the need too) or better still that next year i'll have my dads Honda Hornet and beat them in their Nova Very Happy

They bow their heads and look at the floor when they see me. It is fear and respect for a guy with more hair on his face than they have on their bolloxs and more ink up my arms than they have in their homework diaries.

I've done that before. Laughing

Used to text all the time on the scooter, was easy enough because of the jacket I had at the time. They're just incredibly boring. Neutral

Almost as good.......... One lad on a speedy 50, shorts and t-shirt, no gloves and legs DANGLING!! Doing about 40ish while filtering traffic. I could not belive my eyes.

Another one but on a H100 with cut-down L-plates, wonky indicators and bashed to fuck helmet, overtook me on a blind sweeping right hander, while I was slowing down from 40 for a woman u-turning Rolling Eyes. I caught him at the next set of lights where I power wheelied past his crazy ass. At the top of the hill I waited at the lights and he eventually caught up and the same happened again Laughing Mr. Green As I came up towards the tail end of some traffic on a hill I slowed down while he continued hurtle past me and overtake 2 cars on a hill then filter down hill with oncoming traffic at 30+. I eventually caught up with him at the next set of lights and pulled up beside him and said "Ere bee.... Your a fucking lunatic".... Lights changed to amber and I let him cain his wee 100 off into the distance. Prob thought I was still racing him?!

I could go on.. So many muppets on scoots/aprilla's Razz

Here in Lincolnshire we have two types of chav—the regular Council Estate chav and the Rich Farmer Boy chav. The family next door are of the second type.
The son has an old 125 2-stroke with race bodywork. He is therefore king of the local chavs. Yesterday, his friends decided to go out for a spin.

This basically consisted of riding down the pavements at 30, weaving between benches and lamp-posts, pedestrians and dogs. In true Chav Stylee, they sat around revving the bollocks off their shitty peds outside my house while balancing their helmets on top of their heads.

How I laughed when one of the group came whizzing down the road, forgot to brake and crashed into the stationary cluster.
The unmistakable sound of four helmets cracking the ground and rolling lopsidedly down the road, followed by a chorus of "AH, FOOK", was priceless.

There are still bits of red and green plastic here and there.
