google: "avg free edition" (without quotation marks) for free anti-virus that is very good.

Windows Defender, free from MS, is good for other stuff.

you may want to run something. Norton is good but its not free. I just done a scan and have 18 infected items and was online for an hour with no security. Not sure what to do about that yet hopefully it will let me know at the end of the search.

AVG should deal with them if not there are free programs that will and if not free there are other means. Wink

BTW Norton is not good in any shape or form, its more of a Virus than anything else as it hogs resources and won't remove some viruses.
Thumbs Down

Sorry to Bump an old(ish) thread but below is the results of 3 scans done at the same time with different programs. All definitions were up to date, I have deleted the duplicate finds just to show you its better to run more than one Anti-Spyware program.
