Imagine what? that its for a 98 R1 rather than a 2004 - 2006 R1?

Holy christ. An R1 with a supercharger? That's the most brain-meltingly insane thing I've ever heard of. what's the 0-60 time? What about horsepower?

Cue thread: "I'm a responsible 18 year old with my head screwed on straight. Currently riding a 125, thinking about getting a supercharged R1 as my next bike. Do you think it'll be too much power, or will I get used to it? Should I try a 250 before getting my R1?"

well, lets say 175 crank horsepower, so they reckon 30%. 175x1.30=225hp at the crank. or around 205 at the rear wheel.

Still wouldn't put it on the same plane as a 98 though.

Have it as standard? that's just a walk in the park for 98. Infact, it would probably refuse to come out the house should you put that kit in the vicinity, biggest insult known Tut Tut Laughing

R1 needs one of these:

Dump clutch, hit 88mph in 1st and away you go!

According to the wiki entry:

"In order to travel through time, the vehicle integrated with the flux capacitor needs to be travelling at 88 mph (141.6 km/h), and requires 1.21 gigawatts of power (1,210,000,000 watts), originally (from 1985 to 1955) supplied by a plutonium-powered nuclear reactor."

Clearly this is a mistake and should read:

"In order to travel through time, the vehicle integrated with the flux capacitor needs to be travelling at 88 mph (141.6 km/h), and requires 1.21 gigawatts of power (1,210,000,000 watts), originally (from 1985 to 1955) supplied by a plutonium-powered nuclear reactor or a 1998 R1 Engine"

Saying that, according to legend the 98 R1 won't need one adding anyway - already fitted, right? Rolling Eyes
