where can i get my licence plate from

Sorry i know this may sound stupid but i want to go and get some smaller licence plates done for my bike.

Do all car shops that do licence plates, so them for bikes as well?
and can i just go in and tell them i want a smaller plate instead of the normal size one?

or do i have to get it done over the internet?

by the way does anyone know of any places in north london around finchley or hendon area that do it?

Loads of sellers on ebay will do a smaller plate for you, most with any design you want included in the cost, they are also only about £5, just type in motorcycle number plate.

Do you mean numberplate? Licence-plate is what they put on american and canadian vehicle, and shows the vehicle is licenced for that year.

in the UK we have numberplates that show the vehicle registration number. The 'Licence' is the tax disk.

Slightly off topic....heard from the old bill (traffic police infact) that all plates that are not legal will need show plate written across it soon as the law is changing...Meaning when you buy one it has to. by law, have show plate written all over it Anyone heard anything?

Sounds like crap, show plate can be anything you want it to be as its just a bit of plastic that you use to decorate your bike/car when it's somewhere that isn't a public road. Since it's a piece of yellow plastic with a few letters & numbers stuck on it I doubt they'll be able to regulate it.
