Somebody meantioned Bricklane being a great place to buy biker leathers which are effectively branded leathers but without the branding patches on and thus a helluva lot cheaper while still retaining good protection/quality. They said Bricklane and I thought of Sickpup.

I thought hmm maybe I should do it via PM , but if I want to know where surely others might want to know where also in Bricklane such shops exist.

Any thoughts?

tried that already Brick Lane is a fairly big place in London , and there are various folks down there who are recommended and some are shysters , I wanted to know if Sickpup recommended any in his home turf rather than Googling it which comes up with BCF links even

Brick Lane has changed a bit to much in recent years sadly. Used to be that every other shop that wasn't a restaurant was a leather place. Now the leather business has all pretty much moved over to Pakistan. Been a long time since you could get good quality made to measure leathers in these parts I'm afraid. Sorry.

Rubbish! Pakistan has been the major provider of manufacturer of leather goods for over 20 years, and most of the leather shops in Brick Lane are still Pakistani owned.

Shop around, and compare quality and prices and there are some excellent deals to be had.

Another 2 good areas are Birmingham and Manchester, although I haven't used these outlets for many years, Brick Lane is still the main area, but you need to visit in person, try before you buy, and compare quaility and prices.

*Ahem*

Walsall, the capital of leather 'stuff' in England. There's even a leather museum.
