Shit, dropped new bike

The rsvr arrived last night and today i got it taxed and insursed and took it out.

Absolutly brilliant bike, rides like nothing i could of imagined.

After a couple hours i went to show it off to a mate, pulled into his driveway, went put sidestand down and me foot slipped on the crazy paving.

The bike went down but it was too heavy to stop. Not a lot of damage, snapped clutch lever, smashed glass in mirror and broken indicator lense and a couple light scratchs on the "aprilia" sticker on fairing.

Im gutted but just glad its not too bad.

Already got a new mirror ordered (£12) and going to buy a new lense / lever tomorrow.

Are levers hard to fit??

Yeah i consider myself lucky tbh, could of been worse.

Im free tomorrow evening if you fancy a ride? Im not going to be mega quick as im still getting used to her

you came round mine with a grin on your face like a chesire cat from ear to ear and showed it off to me, then you disappeared off up the street to go and throw it on someone's driveway! what you like mate? lol

At least you didn't do anymore damage to it.

Cool...I am not a quick rider 'cos I'm still a novice, so you'll still be going faster than me even though you're on a strange bike.

Tomorrow sounds good...what time are you thinking of and where do you want to meet?
