Ok im going to have a stab in the dark here and guess the bike you are talking about is a TZR 125?

As for fitting a sports exhaust, Its simply a case of unbolting the old one, and bolting the new one on providing all the gaskets and brackets are provided. And you know how to do it of course.
Some bikes require a bit of tweaking to get them to run smooth after changing an exhaust. But ive never experienced it.

If its restricted to 50mph, im guessing it cant be anything over 125.
If it is a 2 stroke, then it will be restricted via the exhaust system. Putting a sports exhaust on will solve this.

If its a 4 stroke, then I wouldn't be expecting much over 50mph anyway, So it probably isn't even restricted.

/edit

Just looked up the TZR125 and they are apparently restricted via a washer in the exhaust. So yeh, By changing the exhaust you should de-restrict it.
Thumbs Up

he will be talking about the tzr50, their digital clocks are restricted to 50mph. to derestrict this you justy cut one of the wires i believe, but i dont know which one.

even in restricted form a tzr 125 is good for 75

Surely you know that 50cc clocks mis-read like a blind man? My old gilera runner read 60, de-restricted, and a touch over 70 with some shitty old sports pipe, lol. Really it was doing no more than 50 with the sports pipe.
