I just found my old Bauer speed skates from years ago. I whacked them on and went to my local outdoor skatepark and remembered what all the fun was about! unfortunately my blades are 2 sizes too small so hurt my feet after about 2 minutes and with them being speed skates they aren't exactly suited to aggressive skating. So I'm looking to get back into it but I don't want to spend too much money because chances are I'll be broken, bruised and will of had enough of them by next week so I was looking at these on ebay:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/new-LAZERBLAZE-DEMON-PRO-IN-LINE-BOOTS-SIZE-11-UK_W0QQitemZ320125935618QQihZ011QQcategoryZ47346QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And wondered if they'd be any good for a "born again" blader! I'm not going to be going nuts on them and probably won't be trying to grind for a long while yet, just jumping around and dropping in on stuff really. I guess it's the same as anything - get what you pay for - but I don't want to spend £150+ on some blades and then put them in the attic in a couple of weeks! I can't find any reviews on these either but they look like just what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

They'll be fine.
I'm still trying to shift a pair of K2 Naturals that I've had for two years since I grew out of them.

Your not going to really lose anything if you think about it, Read a review on them, try and get a cheap pair. If you do get fed up of them in a couple of weeks simply put them back on ebay.

Sorted Thumbs Up

Spent most of my Inline days wearing Roces.

My first ever pair of Roces were my M12s. What a pair of blade they were back in the day! Cool Thumbs Up

Then Moved on to Salomon STIs

Got my Aaron Fernberg USDs

And then finally went slightly more Oldskool and got myself a pair of Roces Khutis.

You get what you pay for with Blades. I paid on average between £140 and £200 a pair.

Those ones you posted are USF. So once you wear right through the frames, You have the option to upgrade to a better known make of Frame. At £28. I wouldn't be expecting much out of them. But if your not going to be Riding Hard with them on, Then they should be fine. I found when I had cheaper skates. I was forever replacing the buckles on them and snapping axles.
I used to skate alot of street though, So they were getting heluva lot more battered around than they would in a park.

Hope this helps

Ok thanks a lot Very Happy

I ordered them last night so they should be here by the weekend. Expect pictures of me lying on the floor very broken coming soon....

I used to have a pair of Roces Romes and I loved them. I was hoping I'd find a pair of those but all the ones on ebay were too small Sad

I also just realised I can put blades in a bag and go wherever I want on my bike which I can't do on my mountainbike because I haven't found a good way to strap it to my bike yet so I may have to do a mini tour of the skateparks around here!

Thanks for your help everyone Thumbs Up
