congrats Thumbs Up

Now learning how to handle a bike really begins. Have you considered advanced training? If your instructors were good, chances are they've already taught you a lot of the advanced basics, but there will be more to it. Trackdays and advanced riding lessons will help you out to no end.

I don't mean to sound patronising, after all i'm still on my 125, but there is more to riding big bikes - due to grip and weight issues - than there is to my poxy little 125, and i know the extra power can easily lead to trouble.

I demand Fazer Piccies!

Jack

Thanks everyone Smile Im really happy tonight!
I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate - but it was corked. Bit of a let down, but hey, ive been lucky once today so cant complain!

I'm going to do one of the police advanced training things after i have been on the road for a couple of months. My instructor said they basically teach you to ride faster ( above speed limits) safely and generally give advice on how to improve your riding. Its only about £40 so you cant go wrong really!

As for a track day/school - i don't think i can either afford or have the balls to do one at the moment! (i think I would feel stupid doing a track day on a fazer anyway!)

Hopefully i will be able to use the Shops insurance and take a few of the show bikes for a spin as well - just to get an idea of how they differ of course...... ( I work for infinity)

As for fazer piccies: see below

Its practically in mint condition. Has a V small crack in the nose fairing from where my mum dropped it, but other than that its fine. Its nearly a 10 year old bike and has only done 7152 miles!
Hardly any corrosion on the down pipes or engine fins either which is rare for a fazer of this age.
I will definitely be keeping it protected with FS365 or something similar!

Kaben Thumbs Up

Why??? Thinking

There are plenty of riders that do track days on "Mediocre" (for want of a better word) bikes.

A lot of them can lap faster than "Mr Race-Rep" too. Thumbs Up

It's not what you got... (and all that.)

You musn't have seen pics of Gaz on his MZ then! Laughing

The only thing on the bike that doesn't appear to be showroom condition is the downpipes (still, they are in very good condition), apart from that it's a friggin minter Thumbs Up I often find that Fazers are very well looked after, more so than Hornets and SVs. Maybe they appeal to a more mature rider Thinking

May god bless her and all those who throw a leg over Thumbs Up

Congratulations on the pass. Thumbs Up

congratulations.

Good choice of bike. You might want a 30mm jack up kit on the fazer though, i found it a bit slow to turn. The small raise helped alot. Looks better too. Thumbs Up
