Secure Bike Parking in York

Hi,

Due to logistical issues I am getting my repaired bike back from 4D (insurance repair) while I am on holiday... they cannot deliver before and there would be 5 days delay after I return before they could deliver

So we agreed that they could deliver the bike to me in York while I am on holiday and my wife would drive the car back to Scotland, and hopefully I would get a nice dry ride up from York.

I have checked York council website and it states that parking is free for bikes in many car parks but if I am looking for secure overnight parking (hotel does not have any), does anyone from around York have any suggestions?

Check out the car park up by Toft Green/Rougier Street.

I know they do secure (locked in) over night car parking. Park it there before 5pm and its locked up from 8pm until something like 6am.

Punch YO1 6JL into google maps, it will highlight the area where the car park is.

See the gray area to the left of where it marks that postcode as being... thats the car park. Entrance is via Tanner Row.
