Just an idea...to help all of us noobs here, anyone up for started a sort of Bikers dictionary....that we could all add to, so anyone new can check a certain thread out to find out what someone may be blabbering on about....

examples -

Lid
Chicken Strips
Hero bubble...


etc.

Lid - Helmet
Chicken strips - bits of rubber on edge of tyre
Hero bubble - D/B screen?

Kwakka - Kawasaki
Bungs - Crash protectors

Really cant think of any other apart from the stupid ones I heard from working in a bike shop like -

Tail gate light - A bulb apparantly
Blinky things - Indicators
**chav speech** - Me scutah - A Thundercat
- Me R6 - Honda silverwing
Shield - Visor
Fast rider - most the time, someone with a fireblade who couldnt put it into neutral, looked terrified sitting at the lights let alone going round corners.
Bike lift - Handlebar risers
Wheel - Tyre
Tyre - Wheel



Makes me laugh thinking back, some of the people who came in really had no idea what they actually wanted

the little blacky rubber bits on the bottom of the footpeg.
