Hi

We went to Elvington today, along with a few other. My first ever time on a drag strip, and I did one flying run which I didn't get the real time for but at the end of which the 1200 Bandit was indicating 155mph. It took a long time to build up from 140.

My best time was 11.77 seconds with a 119mph terminal speed.

Anyway, here are a few pics.

There's nowt pissing down my frame, I'll have you know Razz.

That would be from last time, when kev kinda killed it Neutral.

(the shock oil leaking at cadwell is another matter entirely Rolling Eyes.)

Nice to see everyone again (and Craig for the first time Smile )... only got 3 runs and the times for two, but such is life.

Oh.. and was quite pleased with a 12.83.. pretty good for a 250, infact if I'd entered the 250 class that it seems exists I would have won by two hundreths of a second Smile.

Yep, about 600 pics. Got to drop them on a few CDs and post copies out to anyone who wants one.

We are still Broadband blighted round here. However that might change. We are now down as possible so I ordered it today and they haven't yet rung up and said get stuffed the line is too bad.

All the best

Keith

Ooh photos.

Keith, if you like I can host them (no not on our dodgy account before anyone starts moaning) - I could do a big zip file that all the broadband bunnies can download, and that'll save on postage and cds Smile

Hi

Web space and bandwidth are not a problem for me (paying for fairly unlimited space and 40gb a month bandwidth), just getting them uploaded.

Hopefully that will change on the 22/10/2003 (can you tell I am excited?).

Cost of posting out CDs is tiny. Works out at about 50p a time which for half a dozen CDs is neither here nor there.

All the best

Keith

Erm ,its not my site, but I think there was a NOS'd R6 with extended swingarm at Elvington. I think that Keith raced it once.
Not really sure you can still call it an R6 but a drag bike based on an R6. Wink

Could have been an R1 though. Confused
