Ok im a funny size, Im big busted and small waisted..

Can anyone recommend anywhere that does a decent selection of ladies gear (I need everything except the lid!)

Im just outside of Sluff if that helps

I always found J&S had a good selection of women's stuff. M&P were never much cop.

What about Hein Gericke?

EDIT: There's a Hein Gericke in Reading on the Oxford Road, although I think the J&S in Newbury has now closed

A friend of mine had a similar problem with his girlf' a few years ago. In the end he got her some made to measure leathers from JTS in Nottingham, the really good bit was it cost them pretty much the same as an off-the peg leather.

Try the frank thomas new range, particularly the textiles. Fits women of your size really well while still having a complimentary cut on it.

Leathers may not fit you that well, but try them anyway, always had surprises with the leathers on women.

Try out the alicia jacket, trousers you might still find a bit long but they do short leg too. Alicia jacket comes in pink too

They do ladies fit gloves as well, shorter thinner fingers and palm.

Boots arent the best for ladies, see if you can try on some formas theyre quite good for women, nice slim sole and not too big round the calves.

My OH is petite and erm, similarly built, and had trouble getting bike kit to fit her.
She now has a bit of a mixture of Frank Thomas 2 piece leathers, Teknic Sequoia textiles and Stylmartin boots. Not exactly the best, but it's pretty good quality for the price

I was thinking of going down the custom route however I thought it would be too expensive.

I have seen a set of leathers on ebay but am wondering about the fit ect ect.

I'd suggest going somewhere like Hein Gericke and trying on some kit before buying online. Im my experience HG staff tend to be very helpful, knowledgeable and patient, without being too pushy.

Nice bit of kit. Just a word of warning if you like to 'co-ordinate' if you buy leathers with colours, re, blue etc, it can become a PITA if you get a different coloured bike.
