I read today in MCN that the bike used in 80's TV series Street HAwk is for sale. Can anyone explain why I used to love this bike so much as a kid?

Its flippin' ugly aint it. Confused It must have been the promise of 300mph with hyperthrust that made it so cool.

Some of you probably can't remember Street Hawk though. Rolling Eyes

I remember Automan, My cousin whose ten years older than me used to watch it religiously (I was like five at the time or something, ) and I couldn't for the life of me remember wtf itwas called, i just remember the cursor thing and that he was made up of blue lines. He could also turn himself into a car as well (afaik).

I love this program.

I have been trying to find episodes of this for ages, but to no avail. Sad However I did find one day find the very 1st epidiascope on video on eBay. Placed a bid for £20 and went for about £60 in the end!

I also found the website for the bloke that owned on of the 3-4 bikes made for street hawk and asked if he wanted to sell one of them, or swap for my old bike!

So don’t dis the hawk!! I’ve got the theme tune for it on my video of the R6!
