Me too. I used to enjoy watching footy too but hardly ever get the chance nowadays. I play football most sundays then usually jump on my bike and go for a ride. Elvington took priority this week though and our team lost in a cup match 4-3 Sad .

Picture a boxing ring, then picture two guys kicking the hell out of each other.

Basically its full contact martial arts, any discipline just no grappling or throws, depending on the country elbows and knee strikes are allowed (the french don't allow them as they are pansies).

Normal gran prix means a fighter will have up to 5 fights in a night, and a fight ends by either winning on points after 3 or 5 rounds (depending on stage of the competition) or a knock out or technical knock out (standing count of ten etc).

not normal to see a round go the full 5 rounds as normally by the third one of them has been knocked clean out. Very Happy

Are you sure that's not fixed?? I watch it but only for the humour of it all really. It looks like wwf wrestling but a bit less obvious.

Now if you want to watch good fights try Bushido. It used to be on really late at night on normal telly, but it may be on satellite somewhere.

No mate K1 isn't staged - you ain't thinking of the ultimate fighting stuff thing are you? If you've ever seen anyone knocked out first hand you'll know that these guys ain't acting etc.

Once upon a time I did bushido as a replacement to my previous martial art. Its very focused and I couldn't commit enough to it (especially financially £15 per hour).

Personally can't watch many sports without getting bored even GP, WSB can annoy me, as I would prefer to play the sport I like instead of than watching others play it infront of me. It frustrates me that I can't join in on the fun, it's like teasing me. But never been much of a footy fan the only sports that have ever interested me are motorsports and fishing.

I know what you mean dean, i would rather be playing football or rugby than watching it. What makes watching it on the TV so good is that you see how the elite play it, when you watch England play rugby for example you see some amazing play and get to watch it how it should be played. Fishing, now there is something i couldnt watch but if thats what your into then fair enough, dont suppose anyone here likes the darts? Very Happy
