First 'off'

Had my first 'off' on friday Crying or Very sad

Was coming up to a little roundabout and went to go round at about 15-20 and the bike just slid from under me. Was fine rain so road was a bit greasy but i think there might of been diesel as it's a really really tight 90 degree turn and a popular route for trucks & lorrys.

Ripped my grip and scracthed the front brake leaver but other than that it didn't have a scratch, i think because my leg was under the bike as we (me & bike) slid down the road.

But of course the women coming out the junction and the women behind me who both had to slam their brakes on just sat their waiting for me to get up. I couldn't get up as the bike was on my leg so i wasn't going anywhere, they didnt even ask if i was ok! Mad

But a guy walking past and a guy in the cue of cars came and helped me and stayed with me for a while till i'd calmed down a bit so Thumbs Up

to them.

Sorry to hear about that matey, but at least you came off lightly and the bike should be an easy fix Thumbs Up

Has anyone else noticed that its normally the blokes who come and try to help while the women always sit there?

glad your ok. my dad came off at a roundabout too a while ago and all the car drivers just drove around him, makes me mad that they dont care if your hurt or not. its a very uncivilized world we live in bar a small minority of people.
