Just been thinking how much I actually end up spending on my bike. So lets have so numbers from people. Excluding petrol and the cost of buying the actual bike.

I got the bike in March (about 8 months), and this is roughly what I've spent on it so far:

New rear 020: £100
New spark plugs: £20
Oil, oil filter, clutch plates, metal clutch plates: £105
Indicators, numberplate bracket: £30
New petrol filter: £15
Set of race scrubs: £80
Another set of clutch plates: £60
Brake pads: £44
Clutch gasket: £7
Oil change: £25
New rear fairing: £30
New crash mushroom bolt: £5
New battery: £20

Grand total: £541

I've also bought a new engine for £500, but the old one will be being sold in bits, so I'm not sure how much that is actually costing me Smile

Mine... owned it for a year now.....

2x chain + sprockets (£20-25ish each)
2x front tyres (£12 + £25)
2x rear tyres (£18 + £30)
oil change (£15)
air filter, spark etc. (£10ish)
replacement lever (£3.50)

Though I need to replace a fair few bits, should come to £100, not bad considering it's for clutch plates, gaskets, oil, rear tyre, etc.

Brake pads = £25 + £25 + £30 + £15
Replacement silencer, bars, fork springs and rear shock = £100 2nd hand
