To be fair you spell everything else correctly and neglecting to put the "h" in what just comes across as chav/ annoying. You can't really blame them.
And if you're running standard exhaust + airbox why would you need to upjet?? ____________________ My Flickr |

tbh, having dealt with some dyslexics in the past, your post comes across as someone who's too lazy to even try and spell, dyslexic or not. There's not many of the tell-tale signs, such as swapping of letters, or phonetic substitution, just poor spelling.
Maybe I'm harsh, but I'm seeing more and more people out there who can't be arsed learning to spell, and blame it on dyslexia.
if you ARE dyslexic, and are aware of it, then don't just look for the sympathy vote, but why not make the effort, maybe even use a spell checker. It's not as if you're under a time pressure to get the post written in a set time.

Fire fox spell checker FTW , I used to spell really bad before I got it , now I am not so bad , although I think your just being lazy , if you make an effort to spell correctly then people will make and effort to help you, make no effort to spell correctly and you won't get any help.
Simple.
Firefox underlines all miss spelt words in Red by the way, its a free web browser.

I am sorry if you were offended by my post. I am also sorry to hear of your difficulties. I do know a number of dyslexics (including my General Manager in my work, and he is running an organisation with over 800 staff), and most cope with their condition with varying levels of success.
On the Internet, as in the rest of life, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Your first post came across badly, as evidenced by the responses. Your condition may have contributed to this first impression, but the lack of punctuation (use a dictionary), lack of capitals etc. makes you appear like a "chav" who can only converse in "text speak".
There are a lot of helpful people on this forum (as well as some not-so-helpful ones), many of whom spend a lot of their time helping people for no reward whatsoever. Generally, the more accurate and polite the question, the more help you will get. Please do not forget that you are asking for help. Nobody has any obligation to provide you with that help.
Your initial post looked like you could not be arsed to help yourself. If you cannot be bothered to try to be clear (or at least explain that you have a spelling problem), then you cannot really expect people to help you out. I hope that you take this post in the manner that it was written, as I am sure that you have a contribution to make.
By the way, one of the advantages of living in a society such as ours, is that there is lots of free help available. If you are an adult, then get yourself to your local adult learning centre. There are lots of courses available on adult literacy which will help you to cope with dyslexia (asuming you are dyslexic and not just a lazy cnut).

Now that ^ sounds like dyslexia. He may also have dissuzecutive syndrome or how ever the fucker is spelt.
has awful hand righting. tick.
he frequently mixes up letters on very easy words. tick
If we send him up the shop for more than 3 or 4 items you can guarantee that he will fore get something tick.
(we now send him with a list). Good Idea, I do that all the time.
He reads very well and gets on well in school with hands on lessons. very much so a tick, often the way with people with dyslexia, Dyspraxia ect is that they will be good at hand's on things.
He has been tested by the school for dyslexia. Were did they get him tested ?
They have said he is fine just needs to sit closer to the front. typical schools way of thinking , they don't know what they are on about half the time.
Hope that helps.
I have got Dyspraxia, ADHD, asperger and dissuzecutive syndrome and they were only found out when I was 12btw.

I think you should take him for a thorough eyesight and hearing test as a start-off. Simplest reason for not remembering stuff is because of not hearing you properly in the first place.
There is also a very underdiagnosed eye condition called Amblyopia where the two eyes don't work together, easy to correct if caught early. They don't check for this at routine eye exams such as at a school medical
Dyslexia is fashionable just now and people tend to jump straight on that band-wagon before checking out much more fundamental reasons. A lot of people who think they have dyslexia actually have Amblyopia.
I remember a kid in my year at school who everyone thought was thick. He was off for a couple of days to have grommets fitted in his ears and went to the top of the class within a few weeks. He wasn't thick, he just couldn't hear what the teacher was saying. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I have Dyspraxia, the way I cope is to read through what I've typed a few times using the 'preview' function to make sure it sounds OK and there are no glaring errors.

I know someone who cannot read a paragraph unless the page is covered by a sheet of red-tint cellophane, then he can read it perfectly. Single words are fine but words in a paragraph don't appear readable. Caused him a lot of trouble at school, and when they found out he had already been labelled as disruptive. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Thanks for all your helpful information, as my husband (iloveriding) said our 13yr old son was tested in school by a special needs teacher but I feel they haven't tested him properly by what my son told me.
I know his hearing is fine as he did have grommets when he was younger and now has very good hearing. He has regular sight tests but not had any extra sight tests ! So thats a good idea to get checked.
Thanks again everyone ____________________ CBT Passed, Theory Passed - Practical Passed 9/6/07

Strange, the first two was paraded out when you first joined (along with dyslexia), this last one is a new addition.

Well when I was at school I spent my whole time in trouble, I never paid attention in class. I was disruptive, rude, hyperactive and showed no respect for the teachers or the rules.
It turns out that I was actually just an obnoxious little shit. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
