Very Happy Well folks, just won a carbon fiber can off E-gay for the CBR, £33. It has the link pipe and all fittings, bit scuffed, but I'm happy like.

The thing is though it's stamped "not for road use". I know I can polish this off no problem, but I'm guessing its going to be loud. So say I was to go for MOT with this can, is there anyway I could improvise temporary baffles, like putting a load of wire wool into it or something to kill the noise a bit?

I can't wait to get it, seller hasn't got his address registered on E-bay though, so I have to wait for him to send me his details.

Tee hee. Link here

The noise won't make them fail it... It's the stamp that they will take note of!

most places will be ok with the can as long as you remove the stamp (do a good job of it mind) unless you get a really strict tester.

Definately worth buying for the MOT and easily removed afterwards!
