Ever get when i song repeats over and pver again in your head? its never the same song its also just one dam line that loops again and again, probably like this thread has over the past.

I hear listening to the song gets rid of it,, but at the moment for two days "nelly the elephant" has been playing in my head Shocked i have no idea where i heard it it just wont shut up!

Anyone else got an annoying tune in their head today that maybe i can replace nelly the elephant with? Evil or Very Mad

I spent most of Sunday night with Josephs amazing tech... blah blah blah in my head.

Only I only ever sing it as:

I closed my eyes, pulled back my foreskin... (Aaah oh Aah)
to see for certain, what I knew was true...

Went on for hours so it did... Rolling Eyes

Oh yeah, get it all the time.

Today's song is "I'm thinking about my doorbell, when you gonna ring it, when you gonna ring it"

(or something)

I like to surreptitiously whistle an annoying song, and then wait to see who gets subliminally lumbered with it first

she's a mystery to me - roy orbison (written by bono).

this verse:-

Night falls, I'm cast beneath her spell
Daylight falls, our heaven turns to hell
Am I left to burn
And burn eternally
She's a mystery to me

it's not annoying though.

it keeps running through my head and i sing it out loud throughout the day.

ones running through my head at the moment are a bit ... mad-wae-it, wee snippets of songs.

"The meadowlark and the chim-choo-ree and the sparrow
Set to the sky in a flying spree, for the sport of the pharaoh
A little while later the Pharisees dragged comb through the meadow
Do you remember what they called up to you and me, in our window?"

and

"That the meteorite is a source of the light
And the meteor's just what we see
And the meteoroid is a stone that's devoid of the fire that propelled it to thee

And the meteorite's just what causes the light
And the meteor's how it's perceived
And the meteoroid's a bone thrown from the void that lies quiet in offering to thee"

and

"dried rose petal, red-brown circles
framed your eyes and stained your knuckles

and all those lonely nights down by the river
brought me bread and water (water, in)
but though I tried so hard, my little darling
I couldn't keep the night from coming in

and all those lonely nights down by the river
I was brought my bread and water by the kith and the kin
now in the quiet hour when I am sleepin'
I cannot keep the night from comin' in"

and

"but always up the mountainside you're clambering
groping blindly, hungry for anything:
picking through your pocket linings - well, what is this?
scrap of sassafras, eh Sisyphus?"

lol.. Newsom-fest... if those songs weren't so brilliant it would do my nut in. Mr. Green

I've had 'Sweet Caroline' by neil diamond stuck in my head for the last 3 or 4 years. Nightmare.

Do frequently start singing Violent Pornography by SOAD at work. That's happened about 20 times this year! Laughing

that calvin harris-i get all the girls...

not because it applies to me, but because its so damned repetitive, the rhythm/beat has just been drilled into my head after hearing it over and over.

It may have been on some advert that I've seen loads and subconsciously heard it, and not noticed its been on (being on tv in background or something)

If anyone has a problem with songs going around their head, they should listen to the ace of spades by motorhead.

That gets it right out of your brain!
