My bike has been sat for a few months with no MOT while I waited for summer (I normally ride all year round but intended to put off the MOT until the sun came out).

This week I decided I'd had enough and decided to sort it..

I needed:

One chain;
Two nice new tyres;
MOT;
Road Tax;
Insurance..

So after a total bill of £500+ in two days, was the 'back on the bike' feeling ruined by the fact it was tipping it down?..

..Hell No!!!

I don't care if its raining, its still bike season so I intend to make the most of it. When winter comes we'll be moaning we didn't get out enough before the snow and ice came!!

..Dave

Welcome to the British summer!!

This is supposed to be my first full summer on two wheels... and I think I may have only seen 2 or 3 days of it so far Crying or Very sad

EDIT : Having said that I've been riding right thru the winter, so you'd think I would be used to it by now Rolling Eyes

Finger's crossed for a dry mild winter.

I've given up on a reasonable summer Sad

Last winter was pretty good - I got out plenty of times. Lots of layers and a decent pair of winter gloves Smile In many ways its better as the roads are quieter
