Hi all yeah got some problems with my bikes alarm , to start the bike is a yamaha dragstar and the alarm is a solar-larm sla 807.

Its happened a couple of times now , the first time got my bike out for work one morning and went to turn the ignition , hey presto no power running through so tried it a couple more times and everytime I turned the key to the off the position the alarm was giving two chirps as if disarming itself , so anyway spent 20 minutes running up and down the street trying to bump it , it started every try ,gave a few rumbles then cut out thought f*** this and got a lift off of my missus ,got home that night tried it and it started first time !!!! so I thought oh must just be a bit damp or something and thought nothing of it until this week when it happened again, so havent been able to use it this week until tonight when i had a fiddle with the alarm and the only thing that cured it was unhooking the battery and bang it started first time.

So any ideas as to whats causing it ? a loose wire perhaps or water in the system or is it just f****d ? as I say it seems theres a problem somewhere between the ignition and the alarm.

I know its not a very technical description but any help would be appreciated

cheers
