come to think if it, when i wrote that title it reminded me of that film 'hostel 2' anyone seen in? a bloke gets his knob cut off, made me cross my legs so damn fast!!

anyways, to the point...

i have £90... hooray!

what do i plan to do with that money? i hear you all cry!

well, i plan to take my A2 test, yes i do!

i have a problem though, my lifan is fucked uppp! i was lazy and never greased the chain and all that crap, the left and right indicators flash at different speeds, the mirrors are useless, all i can see is my shoulders, not behind me...

basically, i cant use my lifan for the test.

now for the fun part that requires external feedback! (meaning 'for you to reply to' if your thick and dont understand multi cyllable words)

anyone know of anywhere i can just take my test without any lessons beforehand on a hire bike that costs around £90? (ill stretch to £100).

hmm... i dunno but a day with my instructor cost 75quid when i had to retake my test (basically to cover fuel/school bike hire and instructor time to follow me down to the test centre easy money eh?) maybe worth having a chat with local school to see if they will let you do that? you wont know if you dont ask eh? Other than that dont think anyone hires out bikes to riders on provisionals. you could always beg and bribe a mate to see if you could get covered on the insurance on their bike and take it on that?

oh yeah dont forget your test will cost money also on top of your bike hire.

unfortunatly i have very few biker buddies, and those i do know are on 2t bikes, ones an NSR and the others an RS

any southwesterners (plymouth/exeer/truro) out there want to lend me a CG or similar 4t?? ill pay £30 for the day and ill fill it up? an ill leave my lifan and keys to all my other bikes (GSXR, CB250-N and CB400) as security so i dont swiftly drive off!

I did my CBT with BSW training in Exeter, they were really friendly and helpful so might hire you a bike for a fee. I can give you their number if you like.

Sadly my RXS isn't suitable for the A2 test, being only 98cc.

Can't you bung a mate the cash, go on their insurance and do it on that bike? There's nothing wrong with doing it on a 2t, just schools prefer 4t as they're less maintenance.

Depending which bike it is im sure sometimes the examiner might ask if you have evidence the 2T bike is restricted.
