Hey folks,

Lucky old me has just bought an 2001 Black NSR got it for £2500 which I thought wasnt bad. The only problem is that pretty much the only way of getting it back is riding it. The bike is currently awaiting pick up some 30 miles away. The ride home would be mostly dual carraigway and nippy cornish roads, what id like to know is, am i going to be ok riding it home do you think as ive only ever done my CBT, im worried the relative lack of turning radius of the front wheel compared to the SG thingy I learnt on is going to cause me a problem.

Anyone got any tips or advice on getting my baby back unscathed?

Cheers,
A chuffed Couger!

well I was worried about having a go on my cagiva after I'd only ridden the GS and SR for my test, but it was alot easier than I thought- so you should be alright.

But I'd done my test before then not just CBT. It would obviously be easier if you can find a mate with a van, but it would be fun picking it up and ridding it home!

its the best practice - drop in at the deep end and you'll never be scared of anything on the bike.
having said, dont go blatting off with the throttle wide open if you've only ridden a GS for 4 hours, you'll find this is a bit nippier.

Go for it! You'll never get off. You'll be surprised how much better the NSR will go around corners, easy. Have fun Very Happy
