Checked booking and it's been put as car?

I'm guessing this should go here as it's a newby kind of thing.

I booked my theory yesterday and purchased the Hazard Perception DVD over the phone.
The guy said it all went well and we hung up.
Today upon checking my bank balance I've found that no money has left my account, either that or someones randomly put about £30 in it.

Is this normal and I get charged at a later date or something?
I've booked the test two weeks in advance so I could practise the hazard, I'm pretty nifty with the multiple, how do I find out if it's actually being sent to me or if the guy botched it up?

Hi Nicky you can check that your test has actually been booked at the dsa website https://pt.dsa.gov.uk/tests/tests_E/tt/index.asp?test=tt#
also i think it takes a few days for your account to be debited on most purchases using a debit card but if your that worried that its been cocked up give em a ring thats what they get paid for

Sorted it now.
Cancelled old test and booked a new one.
Stupid phone man!

Obviously this has been covered already but for those who dont know, usualy when u pay for something using a debit card on a weekend, the money will not leave your account untill the next working day, usualy monday, tuesday if that monday falls on a bank holiday.

Most smaller companys will keep a record of all transactions and them process them all on the next bank working day. Been caught out by that a fair few times and ended up spending the money i thought i still had... my bank love me for it, they get atleast one bank charge off me a month
