Arai Quantam F Equivalent new model?

I'm just filling out my claim form from my drunk driver accident and the ins co want to know replacement value of my kit.

My helmet is an Arai Quantam F Doohan rep.

anyone know what is the equivelant Arai model is now to the Quantam F?

Well you could argue that the Quantum was Arai's top of the range lid when you bought it so it should be replaced by the Corsair. Although the Corsair is now quite a bit more than the Quantum was when it was new. Spec and price wise the Astro is probably the nearest match.

Quantum F should be used in lieu of Arai Astro R or Arai Viper GT since they are the next model range down from the arai astro. For some people, the astro/viper may fit better than the corsair but try before you buy

As I said the Quantum used to be Arai's top of the range lid, he's asking for insurance purposes not to buy at the moment. Therefore Arai's top of the range lid is the Corsair if it's like for like. If you're looking at price wise comparisons then the Quantum retailed at around £399 which is comparable to the Astro R replicas.
