Well that was fookin' freezin' as well. AND you have the indignity of squatting on the ground in a muddy puddle in an attempt to achieve some level of water flow. And I don't think I got all the shampoo out of my hair.

Provided you drink enough you won't be able to smell you anyway Very Happy

Just thought I'd bump this to remind people that they might want to think about ordering thier tickets sooner rather than later - it's less than a month away now.

Damn I hope the weather gets better by then! Shocked

I'll start a new thread with a who's coming list a little nearer the time Very Happy

I know it's come around quickly!! Shocked

If the weather can be similar to last year i'll be happy, minus the bit of rain at the end. Smile

MudSkipper, you are more than welcome to camp with us this year if you want to. Failing that, you can always wander over and find us to join us for beer Smile

You won't be able to miss the camp, just look for the furry pink and black V Raptor Confused

I have suggested to MrsHippy that she enters it, that way she gets free entry - however she isn't interested. She says she likes to have it by the camp site as people stop and look at it and it starts conversations.

Some of us have previous experience of 6 inches of mud at the R+B. However, this time I will be on a bike not in a 4x4, methinks this may alter the experience somewhat LOL.

I rather strangely enjoyed the mud, though shopping could be a little more challenging without a 4x4 to get us out of the field Smile

woot and yay,

I just bought tickets for myself and the queen of the string people to go.

All I need to do is have a word with the boss so we can come on the thursday afternoon or eve and then were sorted.

do I need to bring eye patches?

oh and hopefully with better planning than last year we might just actually fit a kitchen sink or even a dishwasher on the bike, along with a four poster bed, wilton carpet and two rocking chairs.

all of the above could be sacrificed if beer doesnt fit of course.

police tape us out a spot mr hippy man sir Smile roughly the size of a small elephant or a transit van Smile (tents about yay big and wide)

Ste, do you have a gazebo type thing to take up?
If not, can you bring ours up again? I don't mind taking a run down to Reading to drop it off with you, or you are more than welcome to come visit us again Smile
