Wee Package: https://www.cockeyed.com/science/packing/packing02.jpg

They are good consoles, but to be honest, the graphics are sucky, and they dont have much longevity. Great for partys, and when you have your friends round, but stand in front of the TV, by yourself playing bowling against the computer isn't all its cracked up to be!

Thumbs Up

try john lewis, play.com argos.co.uk and thelink.co.uk.

those are the only places ive managed to buy consoles from.

there are/were some discount codes around for john lewis and thelink if you maybe google for them they might still be valid.

I bought one from Amazon a few weeks ago for £179, it was just the basic package that includes Wii Sports. When you get a second remote, make sure you get one with 'Wii Play' which includes a selection of basic games. OK most of them are crap but there's a couple of good ones that make it worth the £5 more than a remote on it's own.

It is best as a multiplayer machine though.

There's more to gaming than graphics.

Jodie, try https://www.wiipreorder.co.uk/ to get the best deal, you can see what packages are available and where they're in stock. I was constantly checking it when I was after mine, got one second hand in the end though.

Zelda: Twilight Princess is an amazing game, definitely on a par with Ocarina of Time. I've run out of single player games to play now though, waiting for Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy to come out. Wario Ware is so much fun multiplayer, esp. if you can get 12 people playing, it's just such a laugh when people get things wrong.

Agreed, he not only sourced a Wii for me at short notice while stocks were low, he also managed to find another one with even less warning when I actually tried one myself and decided I must have it Laughing

Thanks guys! Thumbs Up

I have noticed in some vids that to play boxing etc.. you need two remotes and a white wire going between the two

Where can I get this?
Does it come as standard?

Thanks
