swingarm paint peeling - warranty claim?

The black paint of my gsxr (k4 1000) swingarm is bubbling and starting to flake off. Its only done 6k and lives in a garage so i wouldnt expect this of a less than 3 year old bike. I believe that it has a 3 year manufacturer warranty - would this be covered?

Surprised it lasted that long, the ex's GS500 was rusting and bubbling before it was 6 months old, even being garaged.

Do you use it in Winter?

If it's that kind of issue, you may/will be pushin' an Elephant up a Girafe's arse getting any joy out of a dealer.

I would be surprised if you have a three year warranty on a Suzuki GSXR1000. I would have thought it would be two years from new at the most.

doesnt matter if its a six month warranty its all bullshit same as the extended warranties you buy with your telly or pc or what ever its all bollocks

the law states it must be fit for purpose and generally this means at least 5 years!!!! even with electricals and if their is a problem it is up to THEM to prove that it is your fault and not a manufacturing default SO you are covered although they will try to bluff you just point these facts out to them and dont take any shit about you having to contact the manufacture as youre agreement of sale is with the SHOP and so it is their responsibility

ill go for the fit for purpose route as ive been looking into it and the warranty does indeed seem to be 2 years.
will it matter that i didnt buy the bike from the dealer thatits going back to? i bought it in peterborough and live in south essex so i dont fancy that ridejust for them to say no...
