Right, i'm selling up very soon & was wondering what the B1 Ninja's sell for. The reason i ask is because the B1's sell anywhere from £2,800 to £4,000.
The bike has nearly 20,000 miles on it, had an off a few months back which lightly scratched the front/side fairings & engine cover, all these will be replaced minus the front, will try to touch that up a bit. Has all paper work, Datatool sys 3, Alpha dot, new tyres, new renthal chain & sprockets & the usual stuff.

This is the good side,

Not so good, the lower fairing is getting replaced along with the engine cover, the only marks will be on the front fairing, only light marks.

So yes, that's about it really. I've serviced the bike on the last one & is due one again soon at 20k.

Any help will be great. Smile

IMO - i'd ask about £3.5k - accepting about £3300!

Mileage is pretty steep but .....
Its one SEXY bike!

Drooling Thumbs Up

Just found - https://www.parkers.co.uk/motorbikes/used-prices/Valuation.aspx?deriv=5961&plate=75

Not always right though! Thumbs Up

Hi,

Well i bought the bike for £3,300 nearly a year ago & there seems to be 'mint' one's going for around £3,500 on the net. I can't see why tho, any lower & you're looking at the Ninja J1/2's which is an older generation of bike.
That's why i find the prices on the B1's a bit confusing lol. Smile

Steep for 3 years old!

Is it not? My ZX10R on a 04 has 4000 miles on, my old 93 blade only had 25k on!

High to me! Rolling Eyes

It's not hard to do but it is still steep mileage. Most people don't use their bikes for long distance travel and commuting, and so 20,000 miles on a bike engine is generally seen as a lot more than 20,000 miles on a car.

Offtopic a bit but 20k is nothing. Theres a guy selling a ZX9R on ebay at the moment because the head gasket has just gone......at 116K!

Mileage doesnt bother me at all (current bike has 28K) but some people do have an irrational fear of it on sportsbikes.

A mate of mine has just bought a mint 03 b1h in blue with 7k miles, akrapovic can, hugger, tail tidy/undertray and mini indicators for £3700, from a dealer. Full service history and MOT ofcourse.

Id probably advertise it for around £3450, in the mind to drop a bit Thumbs Up

Cheers guys,

Well, it's not exactly 20k yet it's currently at 17k but usually use it quite alot, should be freshly serviced just before i sell it.
I'll put it up for £3,400 then, aslong as i can get over £3,000 i'd be happy.

Pffft

I think that can looks quality.

back to mileage

So many people get worried about bikes with more than 20K.

What a load of rubbish, i do 18K each year, bike still mint.

I wont get rid of my 7R until its done at least 100,000 miles

Try asking on the MCNNinja Forum, but you'd be lucky to sell it for more than £3K on there.

Your right in thinking the prices vary a lot for the B models.

I sold my B2H earlier in the year. 6k, totally mint, on '05 plate for £3600.

Not really. On a well designed high performance motor like the ZX's you spend most of your time not going anywhere near its performance limits.

Presuming oil changes, valve clearances etc etc are observed the motor should last well over 100k.

Bike engines are more sensitive to poor maintenance and that is the cause of the majority of dead bike motors, or at least larger capacity ones.
