Similar thing happened with Rick Hulse, the chairman of NABD.

He's a pretty busy bloke, fundraising to help get disabled riders back on the road and raising awareness of the charity.

So a bunch of his mates restored his trike without his knowledge and gave it back to him at the NABD rally '06

I just saw that and was going to post that it's not only Bikers who have a communal spirit.

Oh, bum!

Basically, one of the forum members had hit a sustained period of hard times and was forced to sell his beloved motorbike, hoping to be back on his feet in due course.

Things haven't picked up for him, so a bunch of the forum memers have all chipped in to buy him a replacement bike... his old one! Wink
